As I've said before, my only friend was not a JW. And it wasn't for lack of kids my age at the KH.

Benefits of being a Dub as a child
by pratt1 in.
i can't think of many benefits of growing up a a dub but i do remember that i always viewed the other dub kids as brorthers and sisters and they became my support system amongst the "worldly people".
i remember going into a new neighhood or a new school and knowing that once i met the dub kids there, i would automatically have friends and i would not be alone.. this was especially comforting to me because i was an only child, and many times i entered into a new school not knowing anyone and sometimes being the only black kid in the class, my dub peers made me feel welcome and accepted me into the circle immediately.. for many years i feel special to be part of this worldwide brotherhood, and i am sure it is the reason why now i am inafriad of changes and/or new surroundings.. did you have similar experiences?.

What if they're right after all?
by Honesty inthe trinity, soul and body that are one and yet separate at death, heaven and hell, etc.
christendom's beliefs are deemed strange by many people but what if they are right?

What if...
It doesn't matter who is right? Or what if nobody is? What if all that really matters is what is in our hearts, and not what is in our minds? -

jehovah witnesses is not a religon it is a cult
by dude injw's are in a cult just so the watchtower can make some money, they dont care about anyone or let them do anything, all they want is money whomever is still in this religon that is considered a sheep will in fact get killed when this so called armageddon will happen which it hasn't since the first time they predicted in the year 1914, but i got a prediction the downfall of your so called religon will happen in the next 10 to 15 years

Welcome! Maybe you could share your story with us? Why do you think it will only last 10 more years? I figure it will at least continue until the next big failed prophecy. I'm sure they'll have to make another soon, as they are heading towards negative growth, but I think they'll wait until at least 2020 to give the average Dub time to forget the last one.

You realize there's a difference in washing a circumsized and an uncircumsized penis, right?

It's no big deal to get it done as a baby, and it's not something you ever miss. The decision should be based on the father. I could not have taught my son how to properly clean his foreskin, which is really important.

Quite the opposite. As traumatic as my life has been, coming here shows me that I'm not alone. It's very comforting.

Holy Crap! Star Trek's Sulu is gay!
by Elsewhere inlooks like lots of people are "coming out" right now.... http://www.cnn.com/2005/showbiz/tv/10/28/people.georgetakei.ap/index.htmlgeorge takei, 'trek's' sulu: i'm gay.
los angeles, california (ap) -- george takei, who as "star trek's" sulu was part of the starship enterprise crew through three television seasons and six movies, has come out as a homosexual in the current issue of frontiers, a biweekly los angeles magazine covering the gay and lesbian community.. takei told the associated press on thursday that his new onstage role as psychologist martin dysart in "equus," helped inspire him to publicly discuss his sexuality.. takei described the character as a "very contained but turbulently frustrated man.
" the play opened wednesday at the david henry hwang theater in los angeles, the same day that frontiers magazine featured a story on takei's coming out.. the current social and political climate also motivated takei's disclosure, he said.. "the world has changed from when i was a young teen feeling ashamed for being gay," he said.

Comic books, video games, and Dungeons & Dragons.
The idea of demonized items not burning is a variation on the witch test - tie the suspected witch up and throw them in the lake. If she floats, she's a witch. -
